Artist's Comments
This would be my birthday present for ~Zero-of-ACROSS. If you guys remember that sketch journal, the entries of which I AM working on, he requested one of his characters, Ben Sebase. Well, as my present to him, not only does he get his "sketch" early, (the rest of you guys get yours when they're ALL completed), as you can see, it's no sketch.
I'm not entirely sure why, but this guy was an absolute BLAST to draw. It's a very well-designed character, and is very much a badass in his own right. And, as with all my gift-arts or requests or the like, that "critique discouraged does not apply to the recipient.
As for the recipient, I gotta say, out of the friends I know only through the 'net, he's easily in that small handful of people I consider my best. A talented artist, and a really great guy, he's definitely the type of person you look forward to getting to talk to.
So, my friend, Happy Birthday, and keep an eye out for frying pans.
(Oh, the joy of in-jokes.)
